Welcome to the VBCPS 2017 Administrators’ Conference site. Recognizing that leadership is an action and not a position, this year’s conference is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and understanding necessary to lead the work on Transformational Learning that has emerged out of our strategic framework Compass to 2020: Charting the Course. Registration for school-based administrators begins June 19. Registration for all other attendees opens on June 26.
This session will focus on developing a deeper understanding of what student agency is by examining the theory and research behind it. Implications for fostering student agency in the classroom will also be addressed.
